Crude Films is a new series of online documentaries and short films, documenting Irish artists and subcultures. This has been an interest of mine for quite some time, starting with Crude Magazine in 2008, a short lived independent publication, shining a light on many unsung heroes across Ireland. I’ve been meaning to for a long time, to bring the core roots of the publication, to an online platform, at an audio visual level. And I felt, there was no better way to than to start with my friend, and skateboarder, Cian Eades.
48hrs ago, Episode One went live, and already has clocked in well over 2000 views, with interest and attention coming in from all over Ireland & The UK.
Plans are afoot for Episode Two and beyond, but the Crude Films series will continue with one key plan of attack; quality over quantity.
